Wonder with
Gina & Ollie.

One picture. A good question. Something new to notice together. Explore science with Gina the giraffe and her owl friend Ollie, at home or in class.

Gina and Ollie look down at an illustrated soil cutaway with mineral grains, decaying leaf pieces, branching roots and an earthworm. An enlarged detail shows spaces between soil pieces holding air and water.

Ideas that connect

Choose your next little adventure.

Follow a suggested sequence, then choose another discovery when a new question catches your attention.

A small rhythm to share

A conversation can be enough.

  1. 1

    Remember

Recall one earlier discovery or invite a first idea.

  2. 2

    Discover

Read one small part of the picture together and follow the child’s question.

  3. 3

    Try

Choose the lesson’s short activity, or stay with pointing and conversation.

  4. 4

    Return

Revisit a drawing, observation or idea on another day.

  5. 5

    Continue

Choose a connected poster when curiosity leads there.

Five minutes at home

Choose one poster detail and one question. Read the answer cue only when it helps. The activity is optional; a child’s question is a good place to stop and return.

A short classroom lesson

Use one poster for a short lesson, or follow a journey across several sessions. Each lesson includes an observable aim, vocabulary, a 20-minute plan, answer cues and participation options. Timing is a suggestion; adapt it to your learners.

Little Clues, Big Discoveries

Gina and Ollie fill a green valley with little questions: a cup of water, growing sunflowers, a flashlight, a springy trampoline and a wonderfully fizzy model volcano.
