I’m a mom, a solo indie developer, and a woman in tech. I moved from France to California. Kiddos began with the apps and stories I wanted for my own child.
01 / THE BEGINNING
I went looking as a parent.
I started building as a founder.
I wanted my daughter to find wonder in stories, joy in learning, and a world I could trust. So I built Kiddos.
I also wanted to feel good about the technology I was bringing into her life. Privacy. Simple choices. Room to be curious. Experiences that respected our time and put her needs first.
When I couldn’t find the combination I was looking for, I started making it. One family need became one app, then another. That’s how Kiddos grew.
I’m building Kiddos as a solo woman founder and indie developer, guided by the same question I started with: would I want this for my daughter?

02 / THE NON-NEGOTIABLE
Privacy belongs
in childhood.
Privacy was part of the reason I started. It shapes what I build.
Kiddos apps don’t require a Kiddos account or sign-in. We don’t track children or build advertising profiles. Clear choices and parent controls are part of the experience.
I prefer on-device processing where it fits the feature. Each app explains the permissions and services it uses. Third-party video has its own data practices and may show provider advertising; families should be able to understand that before choosing it.

Bedtime, big emotions, a moment to focus. I wanted a true “calm button”: a simple, reliable ritual, without having to put together a playlist or search for the right track.

As a mom, I wanted to find simple, enriching activities without the clutter or endless searching. Events began with a wish to spend less time deciding and more time making memories.
Kiddos BrightA reason to be curious.
I wanted screen time to become meaningful learning time. Bright grew from that goal: playful activities that give children room to think, try an idea, and discover something new.
Kiddos TVWatching, with trust at the heart.
I wanted more care in what my child could watch and more say in the experience. That became TV: curated content, a calmer design, and controls that keep parents involved.

Kiddos Books brings human creativity and advanced AI tools together to make stories and illustrations, with careful editorial guidance. I care about what a story invites a child to imagine, the questions it opens, and the moments it gives us to share.
The books are created for parents, caregivers, and teachers to enjoy with young children. English, French, and Spanish give families more ways into the stories, whether they’re reading at bedtime or exploring together in class.
Print editions and the Kiddos Books app offer different ways to read. The goal stays simple: make reading joyful, accessible, and inspiring.
