Kiddos Wealth Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between Kiddos LLC ("Kiddos," "we," "us," or "our") and the adult accepting them ("you"). They cover the United States release of Kiddos Wealth (the "App"). The same English text may appear as a fallback when a device uses another language or region; that does not announce availability outside the United States.

Please read these Terms before selecting I Agree. They explain your responsibilities, the limits of automated suggestions, and the warranty, liability and indemnity provisions in Sections 11–13. Practice coins are pretend, have no cash value and cannot be purchased. Revealing a card with coins is not a real-money purchase. An optional Kiddos+ subscription is a separate, real purchase through Apple.

1. Adult Acceptance And Family Use

By selecting I Agree in the App's adult acceptance flow, you accept these Terms for yourself and confirm you can legally enter into this agreement. A child cannot accept these Terms. You must be the parent or legal guardian of the children whose records you manage, or an adult caregiver authorized by that parent or guardian. Permission to supervise does not itself authorize a caregiver to waive a child's legal rights.

The App presents the Terms before the final agreement. Opening that agreement does not accept them. You may cancel instead of agreeing. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Kiddos Wealth is intended to be operated by adults on behalf of their families, not independently by children. You are responsible for operating the App, reviewing family entries and deciding what to share or discuss with each child. Make the relevant safety and privacy information available to other supervising adults. These Terms do not waive a child's independent rights where you cannot legally do so.

2. What Kiddos Wealth Does

The App helps families record achievements, agree on small goals, grow a tree of recorded experiences, and practise saving and choosing with pretend coins. Goals may be one-time or recurring. The tree and coin balances reflect entries made in the App; they do not independently verify that an activity happened.

The App includes collectible illustrated cards, reflection questions with optional read-aloud, and previously available individual story pages. Reopening a card or page already unlocked for the selected child does not charge its practice-coin price again. Spending coins does not remove recorded leaves from the tree. Reflection questions are optional conversation starters; the App does not record your family's spoken answers.

This version does not synchronize family records across devices, monitor other apps for completed activities, control screen time in another app, or provide automatic cross-app rewards. Features and compatible devices may change; mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

3. Practice Coins, Family Agreements And Financial Learning

Pretend Coins And Collectible Cards

Kiddos Wealth's family features are free, including its goals, achievements, trees, practice coins and bundled cards and story pages. Practice coins are fictional educational points used only inside Wealth. They are not money, stored monetary value, a bank or savings account, a gift card, a deposit, an investment, wages, cryptocurrency, or funds held by Kiddos. They earn no interest and have no cash, redemption or resale value.

Coins cannot be purchased with money, sold, traded, gifted or transferred between children, devices, apps or people through the App. They cannot be withdrawn, converted into money, or used to pay for real goods, services, subscriptions or physical prizes. There is no exchange rate to dollars or any other currency. An award records a family entry; it does not create a debt or payment obligation owed by Kiddos.

Words such as earn, save, spend, price, wallet, reward, return and collect describe pretend activities inside the App. Choosing to reveal a card deducts the displayed number of practice coins and unlocks that particular digital illustration for that child's local collection. It is not a purchase with real money, an Apple in-app purchase, a wager, a paid random draw, or a promise to deliver a physical card or another item. A card's world, position and coin cost identify a fixed card even when its artwork and title are hidden until reveal. Shiny, foil or gold effects are decorative; they do not represent precious metal, monetary value, an investment or a transferable rarity.

Collecting or unlocking content grants only the personal in-app use allowed by Section 8. It does not transfer ownership, copyright, trademark rights, exclusive access, resale rights, or any blockchain token or NFT. It does not unlock full books, videos, screen time, or content in another Kiddos app. Returning a card through the App's controls restores only its original practice coins and locks that card again; it is not a cash refund.

Coins, leaves and collections depend on the local family records. Corrections, deletion, reset, device loss or restoration of an older backup can change or remove them. Content and pretend-coin costs may change with App updates; no item or feature is promised forever. Because no money is paid for these points or unlocks, they have no cash amount to refund and do not create a contractual right to cash compensation or replacement outside the App. This does not exclude any remedy required by law or any rights relating to a real Apple purchase.

Family Choices And Learning

You choose and review the available coin amount. Zero is allowed. Automated suggestions do not set a child's value, decide an award, or confirm an activity. Family promises about real-world rewards, purchases or activities are your arrangements; Kiddos does not make or fulfil those promises.

The App supports practice with choices and saving. It is not a bank, payment service, investment service, or source of personalized financial, tax, legal, medical or psychological advice. No learning, financial or behavioral outcome is guaranteed. A child's tree, branch category or coin balance is not a measure of their worth, ability, health or character.

Optional Kiddos+: A Separate Real Purchase

Kiddos+ is optional and does not buy practice coins, cards or story-page unlocks, increase a child's awards, or remove the need to earn pretend coins. Parent Settings may offer an annual, automatically renewing Kiddos+ subscription for eligible benefits in participating Kiddos apps. Those apps remain separate downloads with their own terms and availability; a link alone does not start a subscription.

Before purchase, Apple’s purchase interface shows the current price, billing period and any eligible introductory offer. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm, subject to any displayed trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, the subscription renews automatically and Apple may charge for renewal within the final 24 hours. Any unused eligible free-trial portion may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Manage or cancel through your Apple Account subscription settings; deleting Wealth or resetting family data does not cancel it. Apple administers billing, offer eligibility, Family Sharing where supported, cancellation and refund requests, subject to applicable law. A subscription is not a promise that every future Kiddos app or feature will be included.

Use Restore Subscription if you already subscribed. Cross-app recognition uses limited subscription status in shared device storage and Apple’s private iCloud storage, as explained in the Privacy Policy; availability depends on compatible apps and Apple services. Parents should check existing membership before buying. A purchase requires adult approval and Apple’s purchase process; a child’s practice-coin action cannot create an Apple purchase.

4. Family Review And Shared-Device Controls

Choose the correct participants, check the text, category and coin amount, and review any goal completion or card/page unlock before confirming it. A goal assigned to several children is confirmed separately for each child; recording a shared achievement awards the selected amount to each selected child. Corrections can affect balances and shared records. A correction may require returning an unlocked card first so that a balance does not become negative.

The App relies on adult operation and explicit Save or Confirm actions. It does not ask a grown-up question or verify the operator's identity when opening Settings, setting up children, managing cards or recording activities. There are no separate private accounts for family members. Anyone able to open the App on a shared device may see family records and operate its controls. Use your device's security settings and keep control of access. Confirmation dialogs for destructive actions and Apple's purchase process remain separate.

5. Safe, Appropriate Activities

Choose activities that are safe, achievable, lawful and appropriate for your child's age, abilities and surroundings. Do not use the App to pressure a child into unsafe activity, withhold basic care, impose harmful punishment, or reward revealing private information. Agree on any real-world activity and supervise it as its circumstances require.

An authored example, branch classification, achievement, coin award or automated suggestion does not certify that an activity is safe or suitable. Stop or change an activity when needed. The App cannot inspect your surroundings or replace adult judgment. These responsibilities do not excuse Kiddos's own conduct where the law imposes liability.

6. Voice And Automated Suggestions

The current goal and achievement editors accept typed text or text supplied by Apple's keyboard dictation. Wealth does not provide an active in-app microphone or record your conversations. Apple's dictation and Siri processing depend on your device settings and Apple's terms; review any dictated text before saving.

On supported devices, the Automatic branch option can suggest a category on the device as you type either a goal or an achievement. It does not select children, rewrite your description, or choose coins. You can choose a branch manually. Starter activities and reflection questions are suggestions for family consideration, not personalized advice or a professional assessment.

These features can misunderstand a note, select an unsuitable category, or be unavailable. They do not identify the speaker, authenticate an adult, establish that an activity occurred, diagnose a child or automatically save records or award coins. You remain responsible for checking the final entry. Siri, Shortcuts, search and widget actions open existing App screens for review; they do not confirm goals, award or spend coins on your behalf. A widget may display the next goal outside the App, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

7. Family Records And Privacy

The Privacy Policy describes local records, optional processing, backups, support contact and deletion choices. Use nicknames and avoid sensitive details in notes. The App has no Kiddos account or household synchronization in this version. Kiddos cannot retrieve your local family records from a Kiddos server.

Deleting a leaf in a child's leaves browser reverses that child's associated award and leaves other participants' copies intact. Deleting a child can also leave shared achievement text visible for the other participants. Remove any remaining relevant leaves if you want that text removed from their histories too. Archiving a goal stops future use but is not deletion of its history. Family reset, widgets, device backups and support correspondence have different deletion scopes, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Local storage and recovery features cannot guarantee against loss, corruption, device failure or restoration of older records from a backup. Maintain any independent records you need. This does not restrict a remedy that applicable law requires.

8. License And Ownership

Subject to these Terms, Kiddos grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial family use on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by Apple's applicable Usage Rules. Permitted Family Sharing or volume-purchasing use remains subject to those rules. The App is licensed, not sold.

Kiddos and its licensors retain rights in the software, artwork, characters, story text, audio, branding and other App content. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Unlocking or collecting a card does not give you permission to reproduce, distribute, sell, mint tokens from, or otherwise commercially exploit its artwork or characters, except where applicable law permits it. Third-party and open-source materials retain their respective rights and license notices. You retain any rights you have in family text you enter. These Terms do not grant Kiddos a right to publish your private family records or use them for advertising or model training.

9. Prohibited Use

Do not use the App unlawfully; infringe another person's rights; deliberately bypass safety or security controls; introduce malicious code; or copy, redistribute, sell or exploit App content beyond the license. Do not reverse engineer the App except where applicable law or a relevant open-source license permits it. Changing an available parent setting as intended is not, by itself, misuse.

10. Apple And Other External Services

App Store distribution, Siri, keyboard dictation, device backups and external websites operate under their applicable terms and privacy practices. A parent-facing link does not mean Kiddos controls or guarantees the destination. Comply with relevant third-party agreements when using the App. Our Share action shares the App Store link, not a family-record export; material you independently send to a service is your choice.

11. Warranty Disclaimer

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." KIDDOS AND ITS LICENSORS DISCLAIM EXPRESS, IMPLIED AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND ACCURACY.

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, PERMANENT AVAILABILITY OF EVERY FEATURE, PERFECT TRANSCRIPTION OR SUGGESTIONS, RECOVERY OF EVERY LOST RECORD, OR A PARTICULAR LEARNING OR FAMILY OUTCOME. THESE DISCLAIMERS DO NOT EXCLUDE WARRANTIES OR CONSUMER RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED.

12. Limitation Of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KIDDOS, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, GOODWILL OR USE, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO KIDDOS WEALTH OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED THAT SUCH DAMAGES ARE POSSIBLE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF Kiddos LLC, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS, COLLECTIVELY, TO YOU AS THE ADULT ACCEPTING THESE TERMS, FOR ALL CLAIMS LEGALLY SUBJECT TO THESE TERMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO Kiddos Wealth OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED A FIXED AMOUNT OF THIRTY UNITED STATES DOLLARS (US $30). THIS CAP APPLIES TO FREE ACCESS, PAID ACCESS INCLUDING KIDDOS+, AND ANY ACCESS PERMITTED BY APPLE'S FAMILY SHARING OR VOLUME-PURCHASING RULES, REGARDLESS OF ANY AMOUNT PAID TO OBTAIN THE APP OR A SUBSCRIPTION. IT IS ONE COMBINED LIMIT FOR ALL SUCH CLAIMS BY YOU UNDER THESE TERMS, NOT A SEPARATE LIMIT FOR EACH CLAIM, EVENT, DEFENDANT OR LEGAL THEORY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE.

THE EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS IN THIS SECTION DO NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY OR REMEDIES THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED. DEPENDING ON APPLICABLE LAW, THESE MAY INCLUDE LIABILITY FOR FRAUD, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, GROSS NEGLIGENCE, DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE, AND VIOLATIONS OF MANDATORY CONSUMER RIGHTS. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS A CHILD'S INDEPENDENT CLAIM THAT IS NOT LEGALLY SUBJECT TO THESE TERMS.

This section does not restrict refund rights under applicable law or Apple's applicable refund and warranty policies. It concerns Kiddos Wealth and does not set a liability limit for claims arising solely from another Kiddos app. The stated limit does not establish liability or entitle anyone to a payment. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so part of this section may not apply to you.

13. Limited Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Kiddos and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents and licensors for third-party claims, losses and reasonable costs, including reasonable legal fees, but only to the extent caused by your unlawful or unauthorized use, your material violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.

This does not require reimbursement for Kiddos's own negligence, misconduct or violation of law. It cannot be used to circumvent a child's legally protected claim or another non-waivable right. Ordinary authorized use, a good-faith complaint, a safety report or the exercise of a legal right does not itself create an indemnity obligation.

14. Ending Use And Disputes

You may stop using the App at any time. You can reset family records in Settings and delete the App through iOS. Kiddos may end the license for a material breach, unlawful use, or a legal or platform requirement. Provisions that by their nature survive, including ownership and lawful liability provisions, continue to apply.

Please contact contact@kiddos.ai so we can try to resolve a concern. This does not delay a legal deadline or prevent urgent relief, a regulator complaint, or use of a court or forum available under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer protections or a legally required remedy. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law.

Except where mandatory law provides otherwise, these Terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Court proceedings that are not required by law to take place elsewhere will be brought in the state or federal courts in Santa Clara County, California, and you and Kiddos consent to their jurisdiction. This does not deprive you of a consumer protection or forum that applicable law requires to remain available.

15. Apple-Specific Terms

For an App obtained through Apple's App Store:

• These Terms are between you and Kiddos. Kiddos, rather than Apple, is responsible for the App and its content and for required maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. These Terms do not replace or conflict with Apple's applicable Usage Rules.
• Kiddos is responsible for warranties that have not been lawfully disclaimed. If the App fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which will refund any App purchase price to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation; responsibility for other attributable claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses rests with Kiddos, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
• Kiddos handles App-related claims, including product-liability, legal-compliance, consumer-protection and privacy claims. These Terms do not limit responsibility beyond what the law permits.
• Kiddos is responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging third-party claims that the App or your use of it infringes intellectual-property rights.
• You represent that you are not in a country subject to a US government embargo or designated by the US government as supporting terrorism, and are not on a US government prohibited or restricted-party list. Applicable export laws must be followed.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you upon acceptance.

16. Changes To These Terms

We may update these Terms for product, legal or platform changes and will show the revised date. Material changes will be presented for review and acceptance in the App, with any additional notice required by law. Changes do not retroactively reduce protected rights. If you do not agree, stop using the App.
