What kinds of puzzles are included?

Explore Look Twice, Find the Oops, Spot the Change, Find It, Shadow Match, Tidy Up, and Tiny Detail: differences, silly details, memory, hidden objects, silhouettes, placement and close-up clues. Collections can change as the app is updated.

Can we play without rushing?

Yes. Choose a relaxed puzzle and use the available hints and difficulty settings. Take turns, talk about what you see, and stop whenever it suits your child.

How is Kiddos Play different from Bright?

Play concentrates on observing and solving illustrated puzzles. Bright offers guided early learning across numbers, sounds, words, logic and other thinking activities. Both can be enjoyed together with a grown-up.

Are these the same characters as the books?

Play draws on original Kiddos World stories and artwork. A child may recognize a favorite world from Kiddos Books; each story world keeps its own cast and visual identity.

Can we use it on a trip?

Download and set up the app before leaving. Bundled puzzles can be played locally; updates and purchase or membership recovery can require a connection. The website puzzle needs a connection to load its pictures.

Is the website puzzle the whole app?

No. The website offers a finite Look Twice example with three Gina & Ollie scenes. The native app has a wider collection and its own guidance, settings and access options.

Where is Kiddos+ available?

Kiddos+ is currently offered in the United States. New purchase availability depends on the Apple storefront, available products and successful iCloud setup. Individual app availability and standalone plans can differ. The in-app purchase screen shows the options available to you.

How do I restore Kiddos+ on another device?

Connect to the internet and open the app originally used to subscribe. In its grown-up settings, use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account that made the purchase. Check iCloud is enabled for the account being used, then open the other participating Kiddos apps. Cross-app membership recognition and Apple Family Sharing are different: do not assume that a different family member’s Apple Account is eligible. Check the subscription’s current Apple sharing settings or contact us before buying again.

How do I manage or cancel a subscription?

Use the subscription controls in the original purchasing app or your device’s Apple subscription settings. Apple shows the current price, renewal date, cancellation and any eligible sharing options. Removing an app does not cancel an Apple-billed subscription.

Is the free app sample a subscription trial?

No. An app-provided book selection or learning, listening or play allowance is separate from an Apple subscription trial. The app explains its current sample. If an Apple trial is offered, eligibility, duration, price and automatic-renewal terms are shown before the grown-up confirms the purchase.

What can I ask Siri?
Update preview

Choose a full play session, a race, or just one calm puzzle.

  • Siri, start a puzzle in Kiddos Play.Begin the normal full puzzle set.
  • Siri, play a puzzle race in Kiddos Play.Open the app’s Race mode.
  • Siri, start one puzzle in Kiddos Play.Open the eligible featured puzzle in single-card mode.

These requests have owner-confirmed voice checks. “Start a puzzle” is more dependable than “play a puzzle” on the tested device. Existing access and parent settings apply; an active puzzle is preserved.

What can I search for in Spotlight?
Update preview

Search by game type, not an individual picture’s title. The update indexes the seven public game types.

  • Look TwiceFind the compare-two-pictures game.
  • Shadow MatchFind the silhouette-matching game.
  • Kiddos PlayLook for Play, Browse, Race or One Puzzle quick actions.

Individual puzzle pictures, scores and play history are not indexed. Open the app’s browser to choose from its pictures and collections.

What does the Home Screen widget do?
Update preview

A Puzzle to Play puts a puzzle picture on your Home Screen. It favors unplayed puzzles, then those played longer ago. Tap it to start the usual ten-puzzle set with the pictured puzzle first.

The widget is different from the One Puzzle shortcut. Repeated taps preserve a set already underway. Small, medium, large and iPad extra-large sizes use prepared four-hour suggestions, with refresh timing controlled by iOS. Simply viewing the picture does not use a free play day.

Add it to your Home Screen

  1. When the update is available, install it and open the app to complete setup.
  2. Touch and hold an empty part of the Home Screen. Choose Edit, then Add Widget, and find Kiddos Play.
  3. Choose a size, add the widget, then finish editing. On older system versions, the gallery may use a + button.
How can I use the app with Shortcuts?
Update preview

Search for Kiddos Play in Apple’s Shortcuts app. Play, Browse, Race and One Puzzle are quick actions; Find Puzzles and Play Requested Puzzle let you configure a more specific request.

  • One quiet puzzleSave One Puzzle for the calm single-card experience.
  • Choose togetherSave Browse Kiddos Play Games to open the normal puzzle browser.

Requests use the existing catalog and access rules. A shortcut cannot create a new puzzle or bypass the parent challenge. Natural requests may ask you to choose when more than one item matches.

Make a shortcut

  1. Open Shortcuts, start a new shortcut and search the action list for Kiddos Play.
  2. Choose an available action, fill in any choices and give the shortcut a clear name.
  3. Run it once with a grown-up to check the result. Keep any app setup, unlock or parent confirmation in place.
Why can’t I see an action, search result or widget yet?
Getting ready

This is an update preview. Some described features may not be in your installed App Store version yet. Check the app’s release notes when an update becomes available.

The examples use English. Features can depend on device, system version, language and region. Some natural-language requests need a supported on-device model; simple named actions are a separate feature. Apple’s Siri service has its own processing rules, even when an app’s own helper runs on device. These native features do not run on this website.

A few things to check

  1. After updating, open the app and finish its initial setup before trying system actions.
  2. For missing search results, check the app’s Show App in Search and Show Content in Search settings. Siri also needs to be enabled for the app where that setting is offered.
  3. If a spoken request fails, try the matching action in Shortcuts or open the app directly. Apple controls recognition, result order and how many quick actions fit on screen.
